Why I developed a new grass fed whey protein concentrate by Dr Michael Lange

After years of nutritional research with macular degeneration and dry eye patients I found a large percentage of these patients were deficient in glutathione. Most of these patients were lacking the specific amino acids necessary to stimulate glutathione production do to their poor diets. I also found the best way to stimulate glutathione was for these patients to consume a non denatured whey protein concentrate once or twice daily. I rapidly found out all whey protein is not created equal. I have developed my reputation of developing the highest quality supplements in the industry and not cutting any corners in the development of nutritional supplements. I have found after working with patients for nearly 25 years that the vast majority are not getting good quality protein during the day especially for breakfast. When I started to reccomend a whey protein supplement to my patients I found that a really good quality protein with a decent concentration was hard to find for an affordable price. I started to research different types of whey protein and found out most whey protein is overly processed and comes from cows that are fed genetically modified grains, filled with pesticides, antibiotics, synthetic sweeteners, binders and hormones. I also found that most cows are A1 cows that have gone thru a genetic mutation altering the beta casein protein in the milk causing many digestive issues and other potential health problems. After extensive research I wanted a whey protein that came from A2 cows that graze year round on pesticide free grass and are not given antibiotics or hormones of any type. I also elected to use a whey protein concentrate instead of a whey protein isolate. The whey concentrate is the least processed form of whey protein that has not been stripped of the good fats, immunoglobulins ,minerals and enzymes. Whey protein isolates are overly processed and stripped of the valuable anti aging immunoglobulins. I also wanted a non denatured whey protein concentrate to maintain the natural quality of the whey protein the way God intended it. Non Denatured whey protein has the highest biological value of any protein. I found with my patients one of the best ways to stimulate glutathione is by consuming a non denatured whey protein concentrate daily. When protein is heated or denatured it converts covalent bonded cysteine to cystine a much less bio-available form of the amino acid. Covalent bonded cysteine is the most important amino acid responsible for the production of glutathione. Glutathione is crucial at all ages for a strong immune system. Lastly I decided to use New Zealand Grass fed A2 cows as the source for Fortifeye Super Protein because these cows met all of the criteria I required for the perfect protein I can stand behind and trust. A2 cows milk have not gone through a genetic mutation that alters the protein causing the digestive issues and other potential health problems associated with A1 cows milk. I worked for some time on a natural organic flavor system combined with non gmo sunflower lecithin to make both the vanilla and chocolate flavors delicious and creamy. Fortifeye Super Protein since it is grass fed year round has a higher ratio of omega 3 to omega 6 than a grain fed cows milk. This higher omega 3 ratio is crucial when dealing with patients with dry eye. Also since this is a grass fed concentrate it is much higher in CLA (good fat) and Lactoferrin (muti-functional protein) both have been found to be lower in dry eye patients. Making a smoothie in the am for breakfast using Fortifeye Super Protein or another non denatured whey protein concentrate from grass fed New Zealand A2 cows is a great way to start the am. I also recommend drinking another smoothie within 30 minutes of working out to maximize the results of your workout. Many of my patients have improved dry eye symptoms , lost  fat  and gained muscle when they have started following some simple life style adjustments and added a daily smoothie using this type of protein. I developed Fortifeye Super Protein so doctors and consumers now have a whey protein concentrate they can trust. You can purchase Fortifeye Super protein online at www.fortifeye.com or thru any physician that carries Fortifeye Supplements.  learn more science behind Fortifeye Super Protein here:  www.newzealandwheyproteinconcentrate.com
